I am a geek when it comes to learning about health. The concepts and principles laid out in this book are the most powerful and logical I have come across.

This book has literally changed my life.

Yes, I lost weight following Dr. Fuhrman's meal plans, but more important is how healthy I feel every day.

I had acid reflux for 4 years, and all the doctors could do is prescribe pills that don't really work (yet have terrible side effects), but now my acid reflux is completely gone. After about 2 weeks into the diet it disappeared and I haven't had it since (a few months now). I don't have acid reflux any more.

There are a million diet books out there with mixed results, but this book is the real deal, because it's not about going on a temporary, fad diet (though which people typically lose a few pounds and then gain more afterward) -- it's about changing your eating habits for the better for a lifetime. And it works.

I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

Best book ever! Well explained if you are interested in nutrition for optimizing your health and well being... I strongly recommend it.
