The book although good at some points , I found it wasn't long enough for what I paid.
50 shades was at least worth the money at $30 for the set and also way longer.

This story of Gideon and Eva, is very graphic with the sex scenes, however, I loved it. It's a great fantasy/love story....a very fun series!! I don't want it to end and anxiously await the next book!

Very iffy it had too many scenes that felt like Shades of Grey. But couldn't get me to fall in love with the main characters. Just could connect with them. Some passionate sex but not a gripping story

A million times better then the 50 shades series!!! I enjoyed the characters and over all story very much. A bit cheesy here and there but hey...its a romance novel. I love the relationship between all the characters and the fact that I can relate to many of them. Bravo Sylvia Day!

Suspiciously and extremely similar to the 50 shades of Grey series. Hence disappointing having read that series - morbid curiosity- like the inability to take your eyes off a car crash. The book is merely porn and discussions between the characters of their challenging relationship. Nothing more!

I've read this as well as FSOG and liked this one much better. The characters, development of them and writing is more mature in this book. I honestly skipped through a lot of the sex scenes in FSOG, it was redundant after a while. Can't wait to read the next one.

Having read the 50 shades series first and looking for another fix, I was recommended this book. I put it down a few times frustrated on the fact that I felt so many things were taken right out of 50 shades. Too many similarities too list. I didn't really feel the character or the reason behind the connection o the character as I did in 50 shades. I overall would recommend this book and thought it was a good read but not as good as 50 shades. The second book in this series, reflected in you is a great read and I can't not wait for the third book.?

I really enjoyed Fifty Shades it had lots of kinkery sex but this book had more of a story to me. Gideon and Eva have a past and I enjoyed how Sylvia took us through there past and present. It has lots of sex but a story line. I couldn't put it down and eagerly wait for Reflected to You.

Read this after reading the 50 shades trilogy. It was similar but I felt that Christian and Ana are easier to relate to and easier to fall in love with. I felt the characters were better developed in 50 shades. Will probably still continue reading, but definitely not as good as 50 shades.

I enjoyed the Character development in this novel (far more than 50 Shades of Grey). There is more substance to these characters. However, I do find Eva's coping mechanism with stressful issues & events of running away becomes annoying after a while. There is only so many times a person will chase after you! It gets annoying & repetitive. Issue arises = Eva running away = Cross running after = sex.
I hope the 2nd book will be a little less repetitive. Nevertheless, it's an entertaining read.

I really enjoyed this book, I read it beginning to end from purchase. I couldn't pry myself away from it, it kept me interested from cover to cover. Truly a great story line and thinking about Gideon leaves you wanting more! Can't wait for the second novel to come out!

Loved this book. Anxious for the next one to come out.
I have read the 50 shades trilogy. And this books is very very similar to that, but I honestly enjoyed this one a little more (not as much spelling and grammatical errors)
However being that the first book is similar maybe Sylvia day has a trick up her sleeve to add some unforeseen twist

After reading 50 shades of grey I was looking from something just as addictive. I have to admit i was not impressed by this book at all. It copy's 50 shades to much to my taste. I find the story quite dull. It is well written but is missing something i did not hang on to each word and was not eager to finish it. It did not have me wondering.
If you've experienced 50shades don't waste your money on this book.

I enjoyed this book a lot. I thought it was better written that fifty shades but equally exciting. I prefer this story line over Greys. Cross is definitely more appealing to me.
Good read after fifty. However you'll catch yourself comparing them a lot and thinking its a rip off. I find it a better story.
Give it a chance. You can't dwell on Grey for long.

I have read this book in about three to four days. It was another great book for me to read, I have read fifty shades of grey twice, when read this book I was like wow, now I have finished reading it and now knowing there are two more books coming out I can't wait to get my hands on them to read. The author has become another favorite of mine, I am so looking forward to reading her books, I will be letting all my friends to get theses books.

This book was great! I'm not happy with the ending, it doesn't feel over... But There is a second one. I see how this is kind of like the "grey trilogies" but I also find it completely different. It's a great erotic romance :)

This is a sad imitation of fifty shades of gray. There are
many similarities that makes it a knock off from the gray series. The characters are much better developed in fifty shades and one is much more able to identify with their vulnerabilities versus this novel. Very disappointing.

Was looking for something along the lines of Fifty Shades of Grey and this was recommended to me. Well I must say that I LOVED LOVED LOVED it. A must read. Looking forward to the next two in the series. Can't wait.

I felt this book was too much of a 50 Shades rip off. I didn't find the characters interesting at all, and really feel that this book lacked originality. I think the potential was there for it to be a great book, but again, it was way too similar to the 50 Shades series.

This book was almost an exact replica of fifty shades accept Christian was much more alluring than I found Gideon. Honestly if you are thirsting for more fifty shades just re read them and save your money!

Disappointed is really all I can say to describe the novel....oh, and maybe a waste of money. Couldn't wait to finish it and as another reader commented, just skipped over most of the erotica hoping for the plot to improve. Not even in the same ball park of Fifty Shades.

So, so good! If you liked 50 Shades, you'll LOVE this book. It's a better written book with more fully developed characters...read it in a day! Heroine is flawed but strong, hero is dominant yet yielding. Can't wait for the following 2 books!!!
